Happy to report that all course design work and filming has been completed for a new, masters-level online course at @MandelSchool—Strategic Power Building with Communities! The course presents frameworks for power and strategy and guides students through various models and methods for building power from the ground up. The course features many interviews with those building power in communities addressing issues of health, safety, freedom and justice.

We’re honored and excited to being work with Fernside : A Center for Grieving Children on an external capacity building evaluation to strengthen its operations, activities, identify areas of opportunity, and establish a framework for sustained continuous improvement efforts moving forward

This is the second year I’ve worked with RUN, a statewide grassroots organizing effort in California dedicated to empowerment and housing justice. This year’s RUN evaluation achieved significant progress on important organizational goals including the following:

• Trained and educated participants and stakeholders using evaluation results

• Reviewed and clarified the RUN theory of change

• Moved toward establishing an evaluation protocol for the RUN leadership ladder, with a focus on senior leaders
